The Royal Rainmaking Operation units have reset their action plan to replenish water into the dams, in which the water stays at low level after the other farmlands already had an adequate of such supply.
On 15 June 2017, Dr. Surasri Kidtimonton , the Director-General of DRRAA said that there was the widespread rain with heavy rainfall over the past week, this leads an agricultural area holding enough moisture to meet the needs of a crop . But, some reservoirs continually require the water replenishment even now. So, the Royal Rainmaking operation units changed their previous framework plan for adding water promptly. At once, the working teams of Royal Rainmaking have added the water into the important reservoirs located in 4 regions of Thailand. The operations are plausible to increase water in Bhumiphol Dam and Mae Kuang Udom Thara Dam in the North, Vajiralongkorn Dam, Srinagarindra Dam and Sirikit dam in the Central region, ,Lam Takhlong Dam the Northeastern Part and Khlong Siyat Dam in the Eastern part of the country. Moreover, DRRAA has progressively assigned its regional officer to inform the public about its mission and Royal Rainmaking service request , with an aim to create a better understanding of the Royal Rainmaking project.
